Photographs of recent work can now be viewed.

At first sight the work resembles an oil painting. However, on closer inspection, the paint strokes reveal themselves to be thousands of stitches in various colours of silk, cotton and silver threads. The butterfly, for example, is made of organza and through the use of golden thread the sun’s reflection seems to shimmer.

The art formats vary from 10x10cm to even 250x200cm.

I often draw my inspiration from nature: flowers, butterflies, grasses, birds. Each is embroidered, painted or drawn onto the fabric with the utmost attention to detail. Still life, gardens and other beautiful scenes are also an endless source of inspriation to me.

My works are frequently exhibited around the country.
