My passion for textile art and the desire to create work myself took form during the time I was studying interior design and decoration. For many years I combined my professional activities as an interior architect with creating textile art. Meanwhile, textile art had become my full-time profession. As a result of those many years of experience, the boundaries of my creativity expanded and an advanced level of technical expertise became fact. Applied themes and styles changed, just as life itself changes. In spite of its labour-intensivity, the work was done with heart and soul. Time and again, each new work of art is a new and exciting adventure.

In the past 50 years during which I had been focused on creating textile art, I've become quite well-known in this field. My work had been part of many exhibitions, both at home and abroad. Recently I decided to stop producing new artwork. The -still present- wish to create couldn't overcome the lack of energy to actually proceed. However, exhibiting my work still gives me great pleasure.
